Neela Film Productions Private Limited much-loved show – Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC) is now available to watch in Marathi as Gokuldhamchi Duniyadari and as Tarak Mama Ayyo Rama in Telugu on its official YouTube channel. Launched on April 13, yesterday, on the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa and Ugadi, the episodes received an overwhelming number of views within hours of uploading the new content. Meanwhile, the show’s YouTube channel has crossed a whopping 7 million subscribers and on the back of growing viewership, the channel will soon be curating and uploading some of the best moments from over the last 12 years of the show. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been authored and created by Mr. Asit Kumarr Modi.
The show’s animated version titled Taarak Mehta Ka Chhota Chashmah (TMKCC) is slated to air on television later this month from 19th April on the Sony Yay channel. With this, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah will become the only Indian show that would be concurrently running the show in live-action, animation, and two different regional languages. In the coming months, Neela Film Productions Private Limited will be launching the show in one more regional language.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is billed as the world’s longest-running daily comedy show and most of its characters are household names in India and many other countries. First aired in 2008, TMKOC is running in its 13th year, with upwards of 3100 episodes over the years.
