Shikha Malhotra is Awarded Vagdhara Nav Samman 2021 by Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari presented at Raj Bhavan.
Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari presented the Vagdhara Nav Ratna Samman at Raj Bhavan to Shikha Malhotra. Former Chief Minister Narayan Rane and former Minister of State Kripa Shankar Singh and President of Vagdhara Rashtriya Manch Vageesh Saraswat were present at the event.
Shikha Malhotra, who is a qualified nursing officer, volunteered her services during the pandemic for 7 months before getting the virus herself. During her time as a frontline warrior, Malhotra took care of several coronavirus patients from the age of 7 months to 98 years old. She has worked in films like Fan (2016) and Running Shaadi (2017) and has done a lead role in Kaanchli: Life in a Slough (2020) currently streaming on the OTT platform.
