Coronavirus in India Live Updates: India has extended the lockdown till 31st May across the country with a new set of guidelines issued by the MHA. As the coronavirus cases in India saw the greatest single-day bounce and crossed the 90,000 mark, the government announced that the state government will now decide on the outline of Red, Orange and Green Zones for applying limitations.
In Lockdown 4.0, the government has not permitted flight movement but has permitted inter-state travel on passenger vehicles with consent from the state government. The move is expected to benefit the huge number of migrant labourers who are moving. In the new guidelines ecommerce business firms like Amazon and Flipkart have been allowed to deliver all non-essential items as well. The new arrangement of rules kick in from today as India goes into Lockdown 4.0.
Coronavirus cases in India has now crossed the 96,000-mark while the loss of life has gone upto 3,029. As per the Ministry of Health, there are 56,316 active coronavirus cases in India while 36,823 have been cured or discharged. The loss of life presently remains at 3,029
