98-year-old grandfather wins the battle of CoronaVirus in 19 days in Mumbai
Mumbai- The number of corona victims in the state of Maharashtra is increasing day by day. Mumbai has the highest number of corona patients in the state. Corona is the leading cause of death in the country for people over 60 years of age. However, a 98-year-old grandfather living in the western suburbs of Mumbai overcame Corona and returned home fully recovered.
Older people are more likely to be victims of the corona, the researchers’ report has once again proved to be false. Mr. Bhandari, a 98-year-old resident of Borivali (yogi Nagar–west), had a cold and a slight cough, so he was admitted to Apex Super Specialty Hospital in Borivali on July 20 and his corona report was positive. The 98-year-old grandfather was perfectly healthy before the corona infection, in March; his daily routine was to walk, eat a balanced diet and read books without fail. The 98-year-old grandfather, who spent 19 days in Apex Super speciality Hospital, overcame Corona, much to everyone’s surprise. Earlier in the day, a corona-aged elderly man in Mumbai, who was turning 100, was sent home after successful treatment. All we need is determination and to face the corona without fear, this is the message that this grandfather has given through his will, said Dr. Jignesh Patel, Chest Physician of Apex Super Specialty Hospital.
Coronavirus is the leading cause of death in India for people aged 60-65 and above. Overcoming corona by a person over the age of ninety is a positive sign and a ray of hope for corona sufferers. Coronavirus is not just death for the elderly; this case has given us confidence, said Dr. Sandeep Singh, Physician from Apex Super Specialty Hospital. On his way home, Mr. Bhandari thanked the doctors, nurses and para medical staff of Apex Super Specialty Hospital. Corona positive patients who are above 90 are recovering fast from Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala and Gujarat is a great relief to the Indian medical sector.
